Over the past 20 years significant changes have occurred at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). The Airport continues to realized substantial growth in both passengers and aircraft operations.

Our 2016 update to the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is currently underway. This Master plan will provide a comprehensive, organized and phased approach plan that will guide future development of airport facilities over the next 20-years. The phased implementation of the plan will ensure that DTW efficiently and effectively meet the demands for commercial passenger and cargo service, as well as other aviation related needs.
