DTW is operated by the Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA), which also operates nearby Willow Run Airport (YIP), an important corporate, cargo and general aviation facility. WCAA drives economic activity. Its airports are not only responsible for creating jobs, but also sustaining more than 86,000 jobs throughout the state.
