Wheelchair & Mobility Assistance

Passengers requiring wheelchair assistance should contact their airline prior to the flight.

Accessing McNamara Terminal

Passengers departing from McNamara Terminal who require wheelchair assistance may be dropped off at Door 5 on the Departures (Upper) Level. The wheelchair services area, staffed by Prospect Airport Services is located inside the lobby at ticket counter positions #1 and #2.

Prospect staff can assist a traveler from the curb, through the passenger screening checkpoint and to the aircraft. The curb front has a loading zone and curb ramp intended for passenger drop off and to facilitate wheelchair and skycap assistance services. 

Customers may call Prospect Airport Services (734) 921-7200 once they arrive at the departures curb or the Ground Transportation Center. Please be advised, Prospect Airport Services does not accept reservations.

Accessing Evans Terminal

Customers departing from Evans Terminal who require wheelchair assistance may be dropped off at Door 2. The wheelchair services station, staffed by Prospect Airport Services, is directly adjacent to Door 2. A dispatch phone is available off-hours, which connects directly to Prospect Airport Services. Also, centrally located inside the ticket lobby, across from the elevators, Prospect Airport Services has attendants available to assist customers.

Moving walkways are available to help passengers travel more efficiently through terminals.

ExpressTram approaching Northwest part of McNamara Terminal

The ExpressTram is another option for passengers traveling through McNamara Terminal. Wheelchair users can access the ExpressTram station by taking the elevator to the station platform. Security

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) can provide assistance to travelers in wheelchairs. For more information visit TSA.gov
