Detroit Metropolitan Airport will be hosting a delegation of airport and industry executives from the Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
The delegates are participating in the SABIT Airport Development Group Program hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce-International Trade Administration. The goal of the program is to introduce modern managerial principles utilized in U.S. airports to program participants.
The group has been visiting select regions and cities across the country to meet with leading U.S. airports, manufacturers and other industry representatives during the three week program.
