Restaurants, Shops,
and
Services :: Overview
For those on the go, grabbing a quick, quality meal or finding that perfect last minute gift for someone special can sometimes be a challenge. -- Not at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). In fact, Metro Airport has helped set the standard for quality and customer satisfaction within the airport concessions industry, winning numerous awards for excellence and taking our shops, restaurants and services to new heights year after year.
From local favorites like the Hockeytown Café, Gayles Chocolates and National Coney Island to nationally and internationally-recognized brands such as Sports Illustrated and Starbucks, DTW’s concession program provides a diverse and eclectic mix of restaurant and shopping venues that provide for everyday travel needs, while offering a unique and comfortable respite from the hustle and bustle of modern travel.
Complimentary terminal-wide wi-fi allows travelers to stay connected, while the airport’s onsite Westin hotel, and soon-to-open Be Relax Spa, provide guests with a completely different level of pampering. In addition to the new spa, over the next year, DTW is in the process of refreshing its McNamara Terminal with a transformative retail program that will showcase entirely new store concepts and designs such as: The Body Shop, Brookstone, Dylan’s Candy Bar, EA Sports, Hugo Boss, Johnston & Murphy, Pandora, Porche Design, Spanx, Tim Hortons, Time, new Wall Street Journal / Starbucks travel stores, among others.
So on your next visit through DTW, arrive early and take a vacation before even stepping onto the plane… Sample world-class sushi at Sora (Sky in Japanese); try tabouli or fatoush at the Mediterranean Grill; grab a tall frosty pint at Thee Irish Pub; or just kick back and relax at Diego’s Mexican Cantina. You can even check your swing, or play the 18th hole at Pebble Beach on the virtual golf simulator at DTW’s PGA Tour Shop, and you can almost see the California sun setting over Napa as you unwind with a glass of chardonnay or Northern Michigan red at Vino Volo (Wine Flight in Italian).
