Several Master Plan Public Information Workshops have been conducted throughout the metropolitan area. These workshops were attended by many citizens interested in learning and commenting about the DTW master plan. The times, dates and locations of these workshops are show below.

A fundamental aspect of Master Plan is stakeholder involvement. This Master Plan process reflects the input of a broad range of Airport stakeholders, including the WCAA Board, Airport management, tenants, users, local government officials, community leaders and interested citizens. The public workshops and committee meetings were used to identify, refine and evaluate a range of alternatives for accommodating the facility requirements.
