$65,307 (Flat Rate)

Qualifications
Eligible Persons Must: * Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); AND * Three (3) years of related experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of steam generation/refrigeration and electrical generating equipment; AND * Second Class Stationary Engineer License; AND * First Class Refrigeration License; AND * Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Approved Universal Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) License; AND * Must qualify for an Airport Security Badge; AND * Have a valid State of Michigan Driver's License and a safe, Acceptable driving record

Duties
Under the supervision of the Operating Engineer Superintendent, the Airport Power Plant Assistant 2 (Assistant Operating Engineer) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers and associated equipment within the power plant. Special Conditions: Employees in this position work on a 24 hour seven (7) day operation, which may include weekends, holidays and overtime.
