Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) Ambassadors are a dedicated team of volunteers whose mission is to provide a helping hand to travelers along their journey and enhance their experience while visiting the airport.
Our volunteers serve as information resource specialists equipped to assist passengers with finding their way, flight status, baggage claim, gate locations, ground transportation, lost & found, as well as providing directions for regional visitors to conventions and local events. Volunteers are often chosen to help the airport staff with a variety of duties during special events and the holidays. Our volunteers have a well-earned reputation for extending prompt and courteous assistance. Perhaps most importantly, Airport Ambassadors demonstrate the very best of the Metro Detroit community.
Identified by their distinctive blue vests. DTW Airport Ambassador volunteers can be found at information desks located in each terminal or roving to assist customers throughout airport facilities.
